Carol's 70th Surprise party!

I had the honor of taking photographs at my friend's Mom's 70th surprise party last weekend. Thought I'd share a few!

This last is one of my favorites. I told Tiff it looked like her Mom was holding her boob and they all started cracking up! Pure, real laughter.

My Daughters Ballet Performance

My daughter was in a performance of The Dancing Princesses this last week. After MANY days and MANY hours of rehearsals they performed 4 beautiful shows! I thought I would share a few of my favorite photos!

Such a beautiful day!

Today's weather is why so many of us live in Southern California. Yes it's expensive, we have a lot of traffic, but it's mid January and was in the 70's on it's way to 80 degrees this weekend!
Today these kids all soaked up the sun and had a blast on the playground. Here are a few shots I took today:

Time flies....

Ever since the tragedy in Tucson this weekend I cannot get out of my mind how lucky I am to have my 9 year old daughter safely tucked in her bed in the next room right at this moment. Life is SO precious and every second needs to be appreciated. That's the great thing about photographs. You are able to capture those seconds or moments you never want to forget.

I was looking back through some old photos and found this one of my daughter when she was around 3 1/2 up in Big Bear- her first time in the snow. The other pne was taken at the beach when she was 4 at a Hello Kitty Surf event for girls.

After taking photos of the girls yesterday morning, I did a shoot with my friend Julie and her kids. Her 3 kids are getting so grown up and I'm so glad I could get them all together for some photos. Enjoy!
