So, it's New Years Eve and I'm running the past year through my head. A lot of crummy things happened in 2010. Like, A LOT. But 2010 was also a great year because it took taking photos for a friend to give me the confidence to pursue Photography as a career. She has been so amazing and supportive. I am so grateful to have her in my life!
This coming year I look forward to many more great people coming into my life and many new clients! I so appreciate every single person that has let me preserve their precious children and families through the lens of my camera. So, here's to 2011! Bring it on!!! I'm ready!

Sweet Girl
These photos are of a dear friends Granddaughter. We took them at my parent's house with their wonderful Christmas decorations and because the weather was nasty outside- very rainy for So. Cal!

Photo's of Me
The other day I was reading a photographers blog and she made a statement that out of the 20,000 photos she had taken that year, only 11 included her. 11!!!!!! That made me think about how many photos I was actually in and like this blogger, it wasn't very many. I'm much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it! I was trying to take my kids photo for our christmas card when this was taken. I love it because my brother is smiling (he NEVER smiles for photos!) and I look so happy, with a camera in my hand of course! My goal for 2011 is to try and actually BE IN more photos :) but then again that would mean handing the camera over to someone else......

Two Sisters
Last weekend I shot photos of these two sisters. In the beginning they weren't really sure what to do (have fun!). I don't like to pose kids too much, I'd rather catch them in "real" moments! It was really fun to see these two begin to relax in front of the camera as we went along. Enjoy :)

2011 Pricing
After a lot of consideration, I am changing my prices for 2011. When I looked at how much time I put into editing, shooting, and giving free use of all photos, I made the decision to change my basic shoot price.
If you want to book a shoot to take place before January 1, 2011, you will still get the old price of $70 for unlimited shoot time (for up to 5 people- $10 for each additional person), All pictures taken (including 30 digitally edited photos) on a disc for your use.
If you would like to book a shoot please email me at MollyLuvsPix@socal.rr.com or call me at (714) 323-5775
